Inspections, Investigations, Testing and Reports

From time to time, people have unexplained problems with their carpet or furnishings. This may be a fault which could be a warranty issue or may be the result of some other cause.

Colin Nation from Abbsolve Services is a WoolSafe Registered Inspector and can provide investigations, field testing, or on site observations, and then write an independant report to help solve problems or resolve issues with your carpet or upholstery.

An independant report  can help disputing parties to resolve their issues such as, unusual fading, unexplained spots and stains or unusual marks or soiling, colour loss, thread pulls, missing pile, burn marks,discolourations and a range of other issues.

We do inspections and reports on carpet and upholstery related issues and complaint investigations  for insurance companies, carpet manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, general public, consumers and even carpet cleaners who may have had a problem with a job and need independant advice or solutions.

A report will contain photos and descriptions of the problem and make suggestions for a resolution or at least provide answers to your questions. This is a cost effective way to get the answers to problems and help resolve disputes.

My reports have been used in court to help magistrates abitrate a satisfactory resolution, but in many cases we can provide a solution on the spot and either fix the problem there and then, or reccomend an alternative solution. I would much rather keep disputes out of the courts where possible as usually neither party really wins.
